On a personal note…
I'm not a cookie-cutter photographer. I want to take beautiful photographs of your family, of course, but I want to highlight the beauty and authenticity of you and your loved ones. I don't want to put you in a box and copy and paste you into the frame. I want what makes your family shine to set you apart from the other families I've worked with.
As it should. Because, otherwise, what's the point? I don't want - and you don't want - your pictures to be the same as what you've simply seen before. You want to experience and remember what and how the photo makes you feel. You want that for your family, here and now, with pictures that fill your heart and summarizes this chapter. I know that's your heart because that's also mine.
And to begin sharing my heart, here's a little about me: I believe in quality over quantity, slowing down in this fast pace world, drinking strong and creamy coffee, baking homemade bread, building magna tile creations with my son, sipping red wine on date nights with my husband, the feel of the sun on my skin no matter the season, driving across the country versus flying, wearing my cowboy boots at the barn and to church (after a good cleaning, of course), reading stories at bedtime, and it's my greatest desire to follow after Jesus Christ and love others well.
